Sabrina can't believe her luck - she's always dreamed of front row seats to see her favorite band, "Trouble", but when she quite literally bumps into lead singer, Rob Burns, and he invites her backstage, she finds herself hoping her luck doesn't run out--and that maybe, just maybe, all her dreams will come true.

This title makes the ultimate fantasy come true when a female fan meets a sexy rock star guitar god with enough pluck to make the g-string on your Stratocaster quiver for days.

Here's the thing. If I had paid for the book I would not have been happy with it and thus given it a lesser rating. It was a decent story but there was a lot to be left desired. I liked the pacing and the characters. The tone was fun. I mean, who hasn't fantasized about love at first sight with a celebrity? So the story itself was a solid 3.

Here are my issues.

Editing. Lordy day, this is basically a long short story. Someone should have caught some of the obvious mistakes in editing.

I wasn't big on some of Sabrina's immature actions. She's a twenty four year old school teacher. Why is she sticking her tongue out at adults? She does this at least four times in 11 chapters. C'mon now, Sabrina, time to start acting like the teacher instead of the second grader.

The last time I checked MLK day was always in January, but in this story it's in February. It's a small thing, but still.

It ended happy but with no real resolution. Actually it was kind of abrupt.

Overall, I didn't hate it but I didn't love it. It's free, it's fast, it's an ok story.

Meeting Trouble (Audible Audio Edition) Emme Rollins Elizabeth Saydah Fido Publishing Books Reviews

I really wanted to like this book, but in the end I thought it was just ok. I like reading stories about celebrities meeting an everyday individual and falling for them. Plus, I'm from the metro Detroit area and have a soft spot for Michigan books. This book did give a good relationship between one celebrity and one school teacher. Sabrina may have acted a little childish at times but it didn't bother me. Rob is a little of a mystery and tries to keep everything to himself. He also has a little bit of a wild side which is where he and Sabrina compliment each other. Sabrina always follows the rules but is ready to break some. After she and Rob literally bump into each other, their relationship takes off. He was in it for one night but he quickly realizes he wants more. After spending a day or 2 together, Rob isn't ready to give Sabrina up. Sabrina is face with a decision which I thought she handled nicely. While this book is short, it does pack a punch. It leaves you wanting to read the other books. If you want a light-hearted, quick and sometimes witty read, then this is for you.
As you can recall, the very first book that I've read from the author was the "Dear Rockstar" which is book 1 of the Dear Rockstar series. I really liked that story that's why when I found out that I have this book in my reading list, I was really delighted. Atleast now I have already two of her books in my possession, a few more to go haha. You might be wondering why I haven't read the book 2 of the Dear Rockstar series yet eh? Well, I love the ending of book 1 so I'm still relishing it. I might not be able to like the ending or how the second book will go through, so I will just take my time fantasizing about Dale haha lol.

This book started so fine, I mean, it didn't bore me at all. I thought it's like other books that have a boring introduction of the story. Well, you can't blame me, it's book 1 of the trouble series. Actually all was happening too fast that I'm not sure how this story is gonna end. I'm never a fan of "love at first sight", though I believe that "like at first sight" is possible, so the idea about the first encounter between its characters was really, uhm, how should I put it? Well, it's somewhat cliché and too mushy. Which also made it hard for me to picture out this story.

Also, to my surprise, this story is just a very short read. So now I realized why the author made this story surprisingly fast. And the ending was quite a rush too. This story happened on a weekend so I understand why the ending is like that. I've searched about the book and found out a follow-up novella, so I guess that's the time where we are going to have that conflict of a relationship we are looking for eh?

This story could have been great, but it comprises mostly of SPG scenes so I'm not sure if it's a romance book that I am reading or a porn. That's actually the main reason why I lit only 3 stars above. I could have rated it 2 but surprisingly, I was still able to enjoy it. This story made me feel "kilig" and it also comprises of very easy to grasp words, so I guess my 3-stars rating deserves this story.

I thought at first that this story is one of the oddest combination I've ever read. Sabrina (main female lead) is a teacher while Rob (main male lead) obviously is a rockstar. Kinda odd isn't it? But surprisingly, Sabrina is a music teacher, so I guess they just rhymes. Sabrina is an only child and is living alone. I'm not sure if I like her character but I'm sure I don't hate her. Rob on the other hand is fine I guess. I'm not a fan of long haired guys, so obviously he's not going to added to my book crushes. I don't remember any other physical characteristics of his aside from the hair, so I guess I'll just talk about his life then. It was quite a surprise for me to found out that he's adopted. It's a surprise also that he openly shared it to Sabrina, I guess he really do love her eh? I don't remember I squeal in delight because of him, but I can't deny the fact that he have some "kilig" scenes with Sabrina.

Unlike the first book from the author that I've read, I feel obliged to read it's second book because obviously, this book don't have the "meat" that I am looking for.

My overall experience with this book was fine. I'm not highly recommending it, but I'm not urging you not to, who might know? You might even like it. So enjoy reading!

Rating 3 out of 5 stars
Not quite sure what the author was trying to achieve here. There was absolutely no point to this book. Sabrina, the main female character, is supposed to be a 24 yr old school teacher. She acts like a teenager. And OMG the descriptions of everything. Jeez. One sex scene has Sabrina actually worrying about staining her couch with secretions. But don't worry because her dad had Scotchguard on it. Yeah. You guys can skip this book. It seriously is a huge waste of time and I'm glad it was free. When the main characters are obsessed and saying I love you after knowing each other for 2 damn days......nope.
